AMBASSADOR ADAMU IBRAHIM LAMUWA

Ambassador Lamuwa is a Career Diplomat from the Nigerian Foreign Service.

He graduated from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State in 1991 and later attended three different institutions namely Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Nigerian Foreign Service Academy Lagos and Indian Foreign Service Institute New Delhi where he obtained different professional Certificates. Ambassador Lamuwa obtained his Master’s Degree at the United Nations African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (UN-IDEP) Senegal Dakar, in 2009.

He has served at different Nigerian Diplomatic Missions Namely;

Consulate General of Nigeria,  Hong Kong SAR, Nigeria High Commission, Ottawa Canada,  Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Jeddah Saudi Arabia CDA, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria  Syrian  Arab Republic and Currently as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Senegal, Dakar Senegal, with concurrent accreditation to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

Ambassador Adamu Ibrahim Lamuwa also served at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abuja in various Departments including; Trade and Investment, First United Nations Division, African Affairs, Planning Research and Statistics among others.

Ambassador Adamu Ibrahim Lamuwa also served at the State House Presidential Villa Abuja at Various times in the offices of the President, Vice President and the Chief of Staff to the President.
Ambassador Adamu Ibrahim Lamuwa is married with children.
